NIKOLAI ZEMLYANSKIKH is a talented opera singer who was accepted into the Bolshoi Theater at the age of 22. Alexandra Pakhmutova, whose anniversary concert was opened by a young baritone, asked the audience to remember his name, predicting that a great future awaits the artist.
Nikolai was born in Volgograd, where he graduated from a music school in the class of vocals, guitar and accordion. The singer studied Italian and German since childhood to perform classical opera roles. Since 2015 — student of the St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory.
The winner of numerous competitions, including in 2010, Nikolai won the Alexandra Pakhmutova competition, in 2014 he took 1st place at the International Competition of Vocalists of the Russian Song "Romansiada" in Moscow and 1st place at the V Elena Obraztsova International Competition of Young Performers in St. Petersburg. In 2019-2022 — artist of the Youth Opera Program of the Bolshoi Theater.
In 2020, Nikolai Zemlyanskikh performed at a concert on Mamayev Kurgan in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, accompanied by the orchestra of the Ministry of Defense, he soulfully performed the song "Hot Snow" dedicated to the Battle of Stalingrad and its heroes.
In 2021, Nikolai participated in a large-scale performance at Baikonur dedicated to the anniversary of the first human flight into space. According to Zemlyansky himself, he sang "This Big World" on behalf of Yuri Gagarin and Sergei Korolev.
In 2022, Nikolai continues to appear on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater, and also participates in bright, large-scale musical TV programs, concerts and festive events.
